TOP NFL

FREE AGENTS

By: Ryan Welte

QUARTERBACKS

1) Joe Flacco- Should get paid massive money by the Ravens.

2) Vince Young- 31-20 Career record as a starter in the NFL. I think someone will be desperate enough to try Young and it may pay off in a big way.

RUNNINGBACKS

1) Reggie Bush- Teams should watch out not to overpay or make a long term deal with him though: he's a little inconsistent.

2) Danny Woodhead- Maybe not as a #1 RB, but as an all around threat and 3rd down option, I love him.

WIDE RECEIVERS

1) Wes Welker- Drops some crucial passes in the playoffs but still the best in the mix in my mind. Incredibly gifted and a great slot man for any QB.

2) Greg Jennings- Great Wide Receiver and threatens both in the middle of the field, and on deep routs. Could end up in Miami to reunite with Coach Philbin.

3) Mike Wallace- One of the fastest players in the NFL. Another guy to be careful not to overpay though. Good as long as there is another Receiving threat on the team to keep Wallace

from being double-teamed.

4) Dwayne Bowe- Great receiver with the lethal mixture of speed, strength, and leaping ability. Has worked with bad QBs in Kansas and would look even better with a legit passer.

DEFENSIVE

TIGHT ENDS

1) Jared Cook- He's young, talented, can catch, and can block. Great safety net for QBs being blitzed.

2) Martellus Bennett- Incredible size and strength along with an excellent football I.Q. Any QB knows that Bennett can be trusted in the

Red-Zone.

1) Osi Umenyiora- May have been the 3rd best pass rusher on the Giants D-Line, but he would be the best on a mess of other teams. An absolute animal and impossible to block.

2) Brent Grimes- A great pass defender. As good a ball hawk as Ed Reed and the only reason you didn't hear his name this year was because he was put on the IR early in the season.
