The Pro Bowl has proven to be ridiculous before, but the best players should still get in. Some valuable players got left out again this year, just like every year, for some of the usual names that have passed their prime.
Players like Redskins rookie Alfred Morris who finished
the season with 1,618 yards and 13 touchdowns missed
the cut to someone with a less successful season. In his
place, old Frank Gore who finished the season with
1,214 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Also, Jeff Saturday of the Green Bay Packers made
another Pro Bowl despite losing his job to Evan
Dietrich-Smith in the last week of the season. The player
that should have gotten the Center position for the NFC
is John Sullivan of the Minnesota Vikings, who led the
charge of the offensive line that helped Adrian Peterson run for the second most yards in a single season in NFL history.

PRO BOWL LOOK
Those were the crazy decisions to me but Wide Receivers Vincent Jackson and Roddy White and CB Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks were not voted in either.
Some of the veterans that made it to the pro bowl did earn it.
Elvis Dumervil of the Denver Broncos had an impressive 11 sack and 6 forced fumbles season. Robert Mathis of the Colts had a solid 8 sacks on the season. Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez had 93 receptions, 930 yards, and 8 TDs. Cowboys TE Jason Witten had a great season with 110 receptions and 1,039 yards.
And then of course, Peyton Manning had an incredible year. He finished with 4,659 yards, 68.6% completion, and 37 touchdowns. Those statistics totaled to be the second best statistical season of his already Hall of Fame career.
The Pro Bowl still is not any exciting event for me. I continue to be obsessed with the voting and who makes the roster, but the game is just painful to watch. There is literally almost no effort expended in that game by any of the players. It is almost a disgrace to the NFL and people will eventually stop attending the game. Hopefully rookie RG3 will show his talent and his passion to win to put on a show for us in Honolulu, given he doesn't lead the Redskins to the Super Bowl.
