NFC
The San Fransisco 49ers will play for a shot at an NFC Championship again this year against the Atlanta Falcons, who are in the NFC Championship game for the first time since 2004. Both team's QBs, Matt Ryan and Colin Kaepernick, were successful in each winning a playoff game for the first time in their careers. The only difference was Ryan has had 3 prior chances. Last week Kaepernick ran for a postseason QB record 181 yards and threw for an additional 263 along with 4 combined rushing and passing TDs. The Falcons face a similar style QB twice a year in Cam Newton. Newton has had success posting 502 passing yards and 202 rushing yards along with 6 combined rushing and passing TDs in their two games this season. That tells me that the Kaepernick vs. Falcons Defense is a huge matchup issue for Atlanta. Patrick Willis and Navorro Bowman head
the best linebacking corp in the NFL for the 49ers and Michael Turner and Jacquizz Rodgers won't be able to go anywhere with them on the field. Matt Ryan won't be able to handle that extra pressure and won't have a very good performance. Vegas has the 49ers as a 4.5 point favorite, on the road in the playoffs. The line is affected +3 points to whoever has home field advantage. That means on a neutral field, they believe San Fransisco would win by a TD, and I agree with them.
Winner: San Fransisco 49ers
