NFL WEEKLY

MY NFL POWER RANKINGS (Top 5)

1) Denver Broncos- The Broncos have won 9 straight and play the pathetic Browns and Chiefs in the last two games of the season. Peyton Manning is having the 2nd best statistical season of his career and Von Miller is having one of the best years for a defensive player in the league. This team looks almost unstoppable.

2) Green Bay Packers- I could see the Packers led by Aaron Rodgers going into any city and winning a playoff game.

3) San Francisco 49ers- Beating the Patriots at home in December is impressive (hadn't happened for a decade). I certainly didn't see it coming. Kaepernick has proven that the 49er offense can be elite when he is under center. The defense was amazing as well shutting down Tom Brady for most of the game.

4) New England Patriots- Brady is still Brady. Belichick is still Belichick. The Patriots are perennial dominators. I give the Patriots a 38% chance of making the Super Bowl at this points in the season.

5) Houston Texans- JJ Watt and Arian Foster are absolute beasts. The only thing is, the rest of the AFC is on Houston's level, even if the records don't show it.

6) Atlanta Falcons- I know, it says "Top 5" but I felt bad leaving the NFC's best record out of the top 5. Beating the defending champs 34-0 would have been impressive if they weren't as inconsistent as the Giants are. I think Matt Ryan can lead the Falcons to his first playoff game victory, but more than that would mean making the Super Bowl, which I don't think he can do yet.

NFL Q&A

Q: Where will Mark Sanchez be in the 2013 Season?

A: Not in New York. My guess is a team like the Chiefs would be desperate enough to start him, but he will probably be a backup somewhere.

Q: Is Michael Vick a Good Fit for the Jets?

A: No. Vick needs to go to a team that could win now. The Cardinals have a great Defense, good receivers, and if Vick could find his game, they could be dangerous.

Q: Will Terrell Owens ever play on an NFL team again?

A: No, I believe someone would have given him a shot this year after the Seahawks cut him if he was going to ever play again.

Q: Would you fire Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan?

A: Yes, go ahead and start an entire new beginning in New York and change the culture that Ryan was leading.

Q: Will James Jones continue his dominance throughout his career?

A: He will be a good player, but not a great player. James Jones has 12 touchdown catches this season, most in the league.
