Rugby League World Cup 2013
The 2013 Rugby League World Cup is the 14th ever in the sports history. This current tournament is being held across England and Wales. The reigning champions are New Zealand. The fourteen teams competing for this prestigious title are: Australia, England, New Zealand, Samoa, Wales, Fiji, France, Papua New Guinea, Ireland, Scotland, Tonga, Cook Islands, Italy and the United States of America.
The Grand Final was fought out between two great countries Australia and New Zealand, the raining champions. Australia were by far the more dominant team with greats like Johnathan Thurston, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith. At the end of the day, Australia went out 34-2 winners and took the crown back from the Kiwis. Not even the likes of James Maloney and SBW could inspire back to back World Cups.
Every other country apart from Australia, New Zealand and England were pretty much a disgrace and shouldn’t be part of the World Cup.
