Anthony Bailey of company sponsor A Bailey Contracts took the
time to tell us more about their positive association with the club.
He told us, “We started to sponsor the club this year but have been
supporting them for nearly ten years since they re-started.
“I’ve been to just about every meeting this year and it has been
great to see them doing so well. As a company we’re happy to be
supporting them and hope that they can continue to be successful.
We hope to be able to continue to support them for many years and
hopefully more of the community will get behind them. Ideally I’d
love to see the team make it back into the elite league but only if that
would be viable financially. I just want us to be competitive in the
league that we are in and enjoying the competition of speedway.”

place to take this club on to better
things. The mood at the club is
bubbling at the moment. This time
last year we were dead and buried so
if I’d have said then that we’d be back
up and running and top of the league
everyone would have been delighted.
It has been a great turnaround for us.
“We’ve got important matches coming
up so we just want to make sure that
we can perform to our best in order to
bring more success to the club. We will
then evaluate how we are able to move
forward during the winter.
“Speedway is a fantastic sport which
is well suited for the whole family;
everyone can enjoy it. That’s not just
in Birmingham, anyone who would
like to see an entertaining sporting
fixture between two competitive sides
in a friendly atmosphere should go
along to their local team and see what
we have to offer. There’s a chance for
supporters to get to know the riders
in Speedway which is another great
benefit.
