ast year Birmingham Brummies were a team suffering tremendous difficulties but a year on they have managed to
turn things around and now find themselves sitting proudly atop the National League table. Team Manager Graham
Drury took the time to tell us more about their fantastic progress.
He said, “I’ve been involved with the Brummies since the club
was re-introduced in 2007. I’ve enjoyed it when we’ve been
achieving good results and winning. The worst part has been
when we’ve been losing which is probably the same for any
manager.
“We want to win things and make the club profitable and that
is what we’ve achieved this year. We’ve made it successful on
the track and viable through the turnstiles. I think the key to
our success has been the loyal support that we’ve received.
“The club had problems last year which were well documented
but that has all been put to bed now. A new owner has come
