They received a welcome boost recently when it was confirmed that the signing of Matthew Wethers had been formally approved by the BSPA Management Committee. Speaking to www.workingtoncomets.co after the confirmation team manager Tony Jackson said, “You have to submit any team changes a minimum of three clear days before their intended debut, which we did, and as such we did not expect there to be any problems - however, it is always good to get official notification that your new line-up has been formally approved.” There is much to admire about the fantastic set up that Workington Comets currently has in place and it promises to be an exciting season for everyone involved with the club.
