Surrey Smashers Badminton is based at Surrey Sports Park on Richard Meyjes Road in
Guildford and they currently compete in the National Badminton League (NBL). They are
a club that is firmly committed to excellence and this is demonstrated by the high quality
personnel they have acquired ahead of the current campaign.
Off the court they recently
announced that former England
junior coach Steve Higgins will
be partnering Hayley Connor as
the team’s assistant coach for
the NBL season.
Shortly after the announcement
was made Higgins told www.
surreysmashers.co.uk, “I am
really excited to be coaching with
Surrey in the NBL. The league
as a whole is looking really
competitive and to be part of
something like this is an honour.”
