One of the basic doctrines of the Church is that Christ came to earth to redeem mankind from sins. Well, but how? The term "sin" is equivalent to the term "karma " by eastern nations . This is the accumulation of negative energy that kills life within the soul . So, to redeem from sin means to cleanse that energy. In the Bible Christ is presented as a Divine Light that purifies, releases and raises the soul. It is no chance that John the Baptist baptized believers first with water as a symbol that everyone needs first to be purified in order to evolve. But the real purification is the repentance or moments when one realizes one’s mistakes that stumble one, and starts feeling a desire to rectify them . The Church believes that one only has to accept and implement the teaching of Christ to reach God. Well, but how far people are willing to fulfill the biddings of Christ? The emphasis in his teaching is on love , but how far has Christendom apprehended love? How many of our actions are inspired by the love of one’s neighbour? How many of today's preachers and missionaries are willing to go through the suffering of the apostles in the name of love to God? It is fashionable in today's churches to preach, pain is not necessary, but if the apostles could reach God without suffering, would God let them suffer so much? And didn’t Christ show, taking the pains of crucifixion, that without suffering one can not come to God. The cross is a symbol of the crucifix which happens in all people as a long-term process in which the lower nature dies away, and in its place higher one comes to the world, but this happens a little by little and very slowly. This comes true through many life experiences through which one passes. Therefore, everyone is capable of accepting as much of the divine doctrine as one is ready to absorb. God does not judge anyone, will not condemn those who are not yet ready to accept his word. 7
