NEUROPLASTICITY …
People Always Change
… Change in behaviour and
thinking must mean change in the BRAIN too.
When you take a
NEW JOB ,
most of your routines change. When you learn a NEW LANGUAGE
or move to another NEW COUNTRY, you think differently. All this is
reflected inching in the BRAIN; NEW CIRCUITS are created, like
NEW ROADS to NEW MENTAL TOWNS & VILLAGE. Old
highways are abandoned, and populated areas become
deserted.

Neuroplasiticity is the process by which the brain change itself in response to NEW
THOUGHTS, NEW EXPERIENCES and NEW ACTIONS. The brain not like a collection of
statues; it is like a busy crowd, jostling, talking, making new friends and shedding others. Some
people leave, some people join. Neuroplasticity is the basis of all our learning and our ability to
change, so it is fitting we deal with it first.
NEUROPLASITICITY COMES IN
3
FORMS
1. The Formation of New Neurons
2. The Formation of New Synapses
3. The Strengthening of Existing Synapses
A newborn baby’s brain has nearly the same number of neutrons as an adult brain. By the age
of two, their brain has reached 80 percent of adult size. This infant brain forms two million
synapses a second as it grows - an incredible fast. The world is new for an infant, they learn
from everything indiscriminately, because they do not know yet what useful and worth knowing,
so nature plays safe and takes in everything.
