I am a born and raised Grenadian just starting out in my culinary career . My early days began at the Grenada Boy ’ s Secondary School which I attended for 5 years and where I gained my passion for food and nutrition . After completing my academic education there , I gained basic life skills which I took to the T . A . Marryshow Community College for two years , completing my Associates Degree in culinary arts . I got my first real life experience working with Chef Mark Banthrope who showed me that a chef ’ s job is never finished .
I worked hard to fine-tune my skills , learned new things every day , created dishes that brought me joy and I was and still am determined to go as far as possible in my career . I never shy away from trying new things even if I get it wrong

the first time . My hope one day is to attend an international culinary school and be able to find a way to become a great chef .
I am currently a commis chef at the Calabash Hotel working under the leadership of Chef Ramces Castillo . This is allowing me to gain a lot of exposure , applying my basic life skills to the pressures that come with this career field .
I give my all to everything that I do , maintaining a positive and open attitude with every person and challenge I come across , keeping in mind that I have a lot to learn and a long way to go if I am to accomplish everything I know there is for me to achieve .
