The nostalgia of The Great House as it is called , showcases hardwood floors , period antiques , and a vintage collection of maps and prints that hold the keys to legendary stories of Grenada .
After check-in participants then step into the garden for a one of a kind interactive ‘ farm to table ’ experience with Chef Belinda , who skillfully shares the agricultural history of Caribbean food during a step-by-step guided stroll through the flourishing grounds .
Pick What You Eat
Have you ever seen nutmeg , pineapples , bananas or coconuts grow ? On this adventure safari goers get to explore the manicured garden with a farmer to not only see the fresh fruits and vegetables such as callaloo , lettuce , mango , and passion fruit , growing but also harvest aromatic herbs and spices such as bay leaf , allspice , tumeric and ginger more and use them for the feast .

A favorite for many participants is learning how to use fresh coconuts to make coconut milk or discovering which of the many blossoming flowers are edible .
After harvesting the ingredients , it ’ s time to slice and dice with Chef Belinda in an open-air kitchen . Chef Belinda loves elevating traditional Grenadian cuisine with a contemporary twist so the menu reflects scrumptious dishes such as creole fish , cou cou ( made with corn flour ) and callaloo .
