He ends up not taking them seriously and brushes it off with laughter but still wants to try it out. The main rules inside are the following: “The human whose name is written in a note will die”, “A note will not take effect unless the writer has the person’s face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected”, “If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simple die of a heart attack” and finally “After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written next six minutes and forty seconds”. Even though it’s already interesting enough it goes even deeper, not only was the notebook seen to be falling from the sky but when the notebook is touched, something freaky happens. That freaky something is that you being to see creatures that are called Shinigami, translated to Death Gods in English, each Shinigami owns a death note in which they write in names of people and those people die. The Shinigami also live in a Shinigami Realm which is far more different than what a modern world looks like. Their eyes also see the life span of a person above their head, how creepy is that?! So now that you have some information about what a Shinigami is, Light encounters, Ryuk, the owner of the death note that he had found and surprisingly both of them got along by sharing the same thought “I’m bored”. Both of them were bored and the story then leads to a shop where Light decides to test the note and kill a criminal. Soon, he is very entertained and begins to kill criminals in order to create his utopia and then is targeted by “L” a highly secretive investigational team which is only known as “L” and is never shown face nor heard voice. As the sotry proceeds L and Light both try to outsmart each other and Light tries his best to look less suspicious to L as well as people around him. What happens later on in the story is entirely your duty, it would be worth the watch! C:
