For years, every woman dreamt of princess
Diana's gorgeous style but at last, after long
years of waiting, it will become a reality of
one women. Kerry Taylor Auctions is
auctioning off two of princess Diana's outfits
in her “passion for fashion sale” in London
next month. The first one is teal glitzy
sequined evening gown designed by Princess
Diana's favorite designer Catherine Walker,
worn for the state visit to Austria. The
princess originally sold the dress at the
Christie's in New York in June 1997, three
months before she died. Now it's valued
between $117,000 and $145,000.
The second look is the one Diana wored in 1985 for her
official visit to Italy with prince Charles. It's a teal tartan
wool outfit that has a wide sailor collar and padded
shoulders. The dress was created by Diana's wedding
designer Elizabeth and David Emanuel in 1985. David
Emanuelis is a welsh fashion designer who is best known
for having designed along with his wife Elizabeth
Emanuel the wedding dress worn by Diana in 1981. This
dress costs between $14,000 and $22,0000.
