• The offices of UAB Specialty Pharmacy Services are open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm . We are closed on weekends and all major holidays , unless announced otherwise . When we are closed , a clinical pharmacist is on call 24 / 7 for urgent clinical questions .

RETAIL PHARMACY LOCATIONS AND HOURS OF OPERATION Prescriptions from UAB Specialty Pharmacy Services are filled at one of two UAB Medicine retail pharmacies : The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital Pharmacy and the UAB Specialty Pharmacy . Both are located on our main campus . Specialty prescriptions can be picked up at the pharmacy window or delivered to your home .

SCOPE OF SERVICE
• UAB Specialty Pharmacy – provides dispensing services for medications to UAB patients with chronic conditions , such as transplant and other autoimmune and inflammatory conditions .
• The Kirklin Clinic ( TKC ) Pharmacy – provides dispensing services for medications to patients of UAB Medicine , including patients of UAB clinics and discharged UAB Hospital patients , UAB employees , and students .
