COMPANY PROFILE
Lamintating kilns, bending ovens and chemical tempering lines, that’ s what RCN Solutions is proposing. Various models and layout configurations are available to support the selection of the most effective production solution. Machines are available into three levels— automatic, semi-automatic, and manual— each offering distinct advantages in terms of productivity, interconnection and digitalization. RCN supplies REVA BF, laminated interlayer and the patented system for clean edges, RD Clean Concept, an RCN exclusivity.

The advantages of the system The ISF method offers several benefits immediately noticeable
Advanced bending The new generation bending kilns allows the production of curved isolated glass units, single or multiple bending radius,( spherical curve) in several shapes, thicknesses and dimensions while eliminated the traditional optical imperfections At the same time, they grant higher production capacity combined with a significant reduction in energy consumption. Chemical
strengthening Chemical strengthening of the glass allows the use of thinner and lighter glass units, providing superior performance compared to thermal tempering, both in terms of impact resistance and tensile strength. In addition, it:
• eliminates the optical distortions and anisotropies typically associated with thermal tempering;
• It is suitable for complex geometries with virtually no minimum thickness limitation.
• reduces the internal stresses generated by rapid cooling processes;
• eliminates the risk of spontaneous breakage caused by nickel sulfide inclusions, making the use of the Heat Soak Test( HST) unnecessary.
• It provides improved mechanical resistance under both quasi-static loads and dynamic loads( impacts).
Automated lamination The final step of glass safety processing takes place through lamination with polymeric interlayers, EVA or PVB, using either disposable or reusable vacuum bags. This process is carried out using LIA furnaces – Laminated Integrated Automation systems, fully automated units capable of operating without continuous supervision, even during night hours or on public holidays, ensuring consistently excellent results. Safety glass issued with this system does not necessarily require rigid interlayers to meet postbreakage safety( PR) requirements, since chemical strengthening, by minimizing internal stresses, allows large fragments to be retained even after breakage, improving its structural behavior. About flat glass, excellent results are achieved thanks to the patented RD
