ISF- Integrated Sequencing Framework: a new paradigm in glass processing
In recent years, the demand for high-performance, technologically advanced with multiple functions( smart glazing) and large-format glass has grown significantly. Nevertheless, the key requirements remain unchanged: high transparency, no optical distortion, mechanical strength, and safety
Requirements become even more crucial in case of curved glass. Currently, thermal tempering technology for curved glass requires the use of highly specialized and costly equipment, some of them with limited efficiency and inconsistent quality output. The main issues are related to sur- face distortions, undesirable visual anisotropy, and challenges associated with glass coupling for the lamination processes. The above considerations led to the development of the ISF( Integrated Sequencing Framework) studied and designed by RCN, system which includes bending furnaces based on gravity technology, combined with the chemical strengthening of glass and vacuum lamination processes using fully automated new-generation furnaces.
