COMPANY PROFILE
Deltamax Automazione S. r. l. was founded in 1989 as a spin-off of FBK, a research center based in Trentino, from the idea of applying machine vision technologies to industrial applications. During its first twenty years of activity, the company developed expertise in vision solutions for quality control across various manufacturing sectors, building technical know-how that, starting in 2010, it chose to dedicate exclusively to a single industry: flat glass. Since then, Deltamax has focused entirely on the development of machine vision systems for flat glass quality control. This path of continuous growth, supported by ongoing investments in research and development, has enabled the company’ s innovative solutions to be installed today in more than 40 countries across five continents, alongside the world’ s leading glass manufacturers

Hall 16 Booth C30 portfolio includes timber and timber-aluminum windows, sliding door systems, custom façades, special solutions, and solar shading products. Combining craftsmanship and attention to detail with a sustainabilityoriented production philosophy, supported by a fully PEFC-certified supply chain, the company chose to invest in the construction of a glass processing facility in Pergine to gain full control over its production chain. Wolf Fenster decided to focus on automation and quality by building a model production facility equipped with the most innovative technologies. The company selected Deltamax to implement four different inspection systems distributed throughout the entire production line, enabling defects to be detected as early as possible while minimizing handling efforts and associated costs:
• GlassInspector for jumbo sheets, to optimize cutting operations by preventing sheets with non-repairable defects from entering production;
• Q Plus after edging, to detect defects arising from one of the most critical processing stages in insulating glass production, ensuring maximum efficiency in subsequent operations;
• Q Plus before assembly, to ensure that the interior surfaces of the insulating glass unit are flawless;
• IGU Scanner after assembly, providing a final inspection that also verifies spacer positioning and the presence of butyl along the perimeter or within the transparent area of the insulating glass unit.
Wolf Fenster represents a significant example of how Deltamax solutions are not conceived as isolated tools, but as components of a comprehensive quality control system designed for the entire production line. At Wolf Fenster, the vision systems are interconnected with the company’ s ERP system and production machinery, ensuring the interaction required with manufacturing processes and enabling essential data exchange for production analysis. This activity is carried out through our Production Analyzer software, designed to store data and images acquired by individual scanners and to enable analysis either by single inspection station or through the combined evaluation of data collected across all inspection stations.
