Weavers, fiber artists to display creative skills
A variety of fiber artists
will be at the one-day Lake
Country Weavers and Fiber
Arts Guild Exhibit and Sale
during Cranberry Fest.
Hosted by the guild members, the exhibit will be open
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at First Congregational United Church of
Christ in Eagle River. Admission is free.

the corner of First and Division streets. The Cranberry

If you have ever wondered how the wool from a
fluffy sheep in the meadow
turns into a beautiful warm
scarf, sock or sweater, this is
the place to see it done. You
will see wool being spun into
yarn. You might even see
beads added during the
playing step.
A particularly fascinating demonstration will be
