S.E.N HANDBOOK
The SEN Assessment Team plays a critical role in the implementation of programme activities. We work weekly to assess students and with a conscientious and hardworking secretary Ms. Chamere Pigott, we are able to produce reports which guide parents and schools. I envision many adjustments to our programme as it is dynamic and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our service to our special needs students, parents and teachers therefore it will remain dynamic. As new research and information becomes available, we seek to train the SEN Assessment Team whom I hope will soon be able to train teachers in working with the education, challenges, joys and excitement of special needs students in our school system. We ask you to join us on this journey because our special students are a part of us and deserve an education suitable for them. Watch us and track us as we grow.
