21 - The Sparta Ambassador - October 2019 We are excited to share an opportunity with you that will leave you SPELLBOUND! With your help, the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta will be providing an indoor trick-or-treating opportunity for our community’s youth and families. We would love to have you share in the excitement! OF SPARTA Participant Information:  WHAT: Our annual Trick-or-Treat Street is a fun option for area youth. Children in our community can collect candy in a safe indoor setting. This is a free family event  WHERE: The Boys & Girls Club of Sparta, Barney Community Center, 1000 E. Montgomery Street.  WHEN: Friday, October 25 th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  WHO: Local businesses, organizations, and over 800 children and their parents!  WHY: This is an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to reach hundreds of families and create heightened awareness of their businesses. Business and organization participants will be highlighted on our Club’s social networking site and website, through local newspaper coverage, as well as, at the event.  COST: We will provide one table and two chairs for your business at no charge to you. If you need more chairs, please indicate so on your registration form. The cost is indicated on the back side of this sheet, if you should decide to have the BG Club purchase your candy for your business or organization.  WHAT TO BRING: Please feel free to bring along advertising materials to hand out to children. Examples may be temporary tattoos with your logo, pencils, pens, coloring pages, etc.  CANDY OPTION: You have the choice of providing your own candy or upon payment; Club staff will purchase the candy for your business. If you select to provide your own, please plan on 800- 1,000 pieces of candy. Please see the flip side of this form for more information about candy purchase options.  SET-UP: Plan to arrive by 4:30 p.m. to receive your table location & set-up. You may come in and set-up as early as 1 p.m. on October 25 th .  TABLE DECORATIONS: In the spirit of making Halloween fun for our community’s youth, we encourage your business to decorate your table. You can even come in costume! In the past, many businesses have worked within a theme for decorations and costumes. Be as creative as you want by making your table “spooktacular!” The attendees will vote on best table decorations and presentation. Awards will be presented to the top businesses.  SAFETY PRECAUTION: Since we will be indoors, candles and fog machines are not permitted.
