Meet our New Member
AMKM Gymnastics & The Avenue Banquet Center
Named after its four coaches, Amanda, Meghan, Kelsey, and Molly, AMKM Gymnastics began as a gym just for
them thanks to their parents, Terry and Susan Arentz. Their dedication and commitment helped start the tradition
of gymnastics excellence that continues today. Our original location opened the fall of 2005 on our parent’s dairy
farm just west of Cashton, and we recently opened our second location at 1415 W Wisconsin Street in Sparta in
August 2019. We offer a program for students of all ages that promotes confidence, strength, flexibility, and bal-
ance through both recreational and competitive gymnastics. Our program is founded on our family value system.
From start to finish, what we accomplish here at the gym is a result of our entire family working together. It isn’t
often you see a program coached solely by siblings, but that is one of our strongest attributes. We always have a
pulse on what is going on with every one of our gymnasts and we are always willing to say what is on our mind
to make sure we are doing the very best we can. By extension, our gymnasts and their families also become a
part of our AMKM family. There is something really special about belonging to this family, and we cannot say
enough about the support and love that exists between our gymnasts and the gym families. It is a great feeling to
know we are a big part of bringing these people together.
Our strong family work ethic has also led us into the second part of our new location. We are excited to be able
to branch into another business with our new facility, event planning. While this is a new venture, our family has
a variety of background experiences ranging from catering, event planning, cake decorating, photography, and
business management which will all help as we continue to expand! We are excited to bring a new events cen-
ter to Sparta and look forward to hosting a variety of events ranging from conferences to birthdays to weddings
and so much more. From basic space
rental to premier event planning, we
will have something for everyone. The
opportunities are endless and we are
so thankful to have had such a warm
welcome into the Sparta community.

to come!
