Jobs refused to accept any deal that limited their creative freedom. In 2006, Jobs and the Disney Corporation finally came to an agreement. Jobs sold stock shares of Pixar to Disney. However, the deal did not remove Jobs from Pixar. Instead, it made Jobs the largest shareholder in Disney. Jobs was now the chairman of Disney’s board of directors.
