Values for life
" Values are like finger prints, nobody's
are the same, but you leave them all
over everything you do ".
From sheltering your child from the rain, to putting his food on the table,
we all know how it feels to have a sense of satisfaction when we do
something special for the ones we love.
We all want to raise our children with lots of love. What is more important
than love is a solid moral foundation, to teach them important skills and
values required for life.
Whether we pay attention or not, our child's value system is being shaped
every day from a variety of sources, parents, friends, teachers, celebrities,
advertisers and experiences...just to name a few.
The importance of this truth cannot be overstated because the values that
our children learn today will in many ways determine the types of life they
live as adults.
Values will help shape their sense of right from wrong, their behavior, their
motivations and how they choose to spend their money and time. Our child's
tomorrow will heavily be influenced by the values they learn today.
It is of utmost importance to intentionally install into our children values that
will help bend their lives towards a more positive future.
Values are best caught not taught.
Children learn far more by observing the lifestyle of those they admire, not
by listening to empty words.
Lets all model healthy values!
