LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
SHILES ' STORY
Dear Members ,
The rainy season is hopefully behind us and Autumn is just around the corner . We look forward to the return of those of you who went north for the summer . My prayers go out to our members and their families to continue to be in good health and have safe travels as they journey back to their southern homes .
The North greens renovation is complete . We opened for the first time on Tuesday , September 29 . We ’ re extremely pleased with the outcome and have had rave reviews from the members that have seen them . The amount of rain we received in September has slowed down some of our plans for the courses , however Rich and his crew will make up for lost time and provide you with great playing conditions for the season .
We have seen the comfort level of our members improve over the summer as the participation for member dinners remains consistent and we are seeing more new faces each time . Our staff continues to encourage take-out , so please call in your order any time we are open . I have heard comments from our F & B staff that it is so nice to see the same familiar faces . This is a testament to the support they were given by you , the members , during the temporary slowdown of our business in the late Spring . Thank you again to each of you who contributed to the employee fund as it shows the true heart of this community .
Our team will continue to employ safe and sanitizing procedures to provide a clean and welcoming environment throughout the facility . We are going into the coming season with flexibility as a big part of our culture as we will tailor events and activities based on the demand and comfort level of our members .
I want to thank every member for your continued support and loyalty to your club during a difficult year , and please know our team will be here to serve you and provide a fun and enjoyable experience each day .
