LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER

SHILES ' STORY

Dear Member ,
We had a GREAT February at the Club with a highlight being over 80 members enjoying our Valentine ’ s Day Dinner prepared by the Chef and his culinary team . Golf play was strong after a rocky start due to weather and the bocce leagues are in full swing . The weather has been great for tennis and for those who chose to lay out by the pool . Some of our February days made it seem like spring came early this year .
We are working hard on scheduling improvement projects for late spring and summer as we are always striving to find ways to update and improve the amenities offered to our members . Our cart path work continues , we are adding material to our native paths and paving projects are in the works to improve some of the asphalt paths .
Many of the members have begun the process of getting the COVID-19 vaccine and I sense a collective sigh of relief as some are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel . Our team will continue to provide a safe and fun environment for you as we all work together to stay healthy while we enjoy the activities of the Club . We continue to provide opportunities for dining in and take out . The Chef and his team have done a great job of keeping the menus new and fresh .
March 5th will mark three years since I arrived at Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club . In my 30 years in the business I can honestly say this is the facility with the most potential to succeed and employs the best team I have had the privilege to work alongside . I look forward to working with our team on the ground , the AOC the CLC and the SWCA board as we continue to grow the value and experience Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club has to offer .
