Vaci Út is a long street customized to tourist needs . This beautiful street is trashed with „ Hungarian “ souvenir shops , tourist attractions and restaurants with tourist price range . It ’ s a „ Hungarian Disneyland “. The street is full of tourists . You won ’ t find any Budapest citizen strolling along Vaci Út , enjoying the atmosphere . They are working in serving the tourists . It ’ s a big tourist facade and not the place to experience the local Budapest . Even though we are all familiar with streets as such , as they occur in every other touristic place , to me it is still a place of uncertainty . How come there is such a great demand for places like this ? Do the tourists enjoy those places ? Small theatre performance using touristic trinkets as props and costumes to overstretch the absurdity of this tourist circus .
