Close to 90 sketches, photos and other similar types of items
that adorned the wall of famous Hollywood restaurant BROWN
DERBY that ended its spectacular run in 1985. These are fine
reproductions authorized by The Brown Derby. One finds
actors, with many academy award winners, political figures
including President Franklin D Roosevelt, celebrities and
others. Size varies from roughly 7½”x9½” to 13½”x12½”.
Diners reveled in going from room to room in the Derby looking
at all the photos & sketches of famous people who had eaten
there. With the closing of the Brown Derby (1929-85), one of
the last old Hollywood restaurant icons offering a true slice of
entertainment history as well as Americana, is gone forever.
Would make fantastic decoration for diner, movie house or
den, or for resale. Overall fine, some light water or corner
damage to some. Very much worth a look.
