Rarely offered collection of 23 different Asian motif stamp
boxes. Many brass with cloisonne designs. Various sizes and
themes from about 1"x1½”x1½” to 4¼”x2¾”x2", with most
half-way between these sizes, all undated. Some with internal
compartments for postage stamps. One medium sized one has
a carved, light colored translucent jade top. Great as a
collection, as gifts or for storage of stamps or other commodities. Generally very fine condition.

Blue Egyptian faience Amulet, worn for good health,
½”x1"x0.125", ‘Eye of Horus’ from the Tomb of King Tutankhamen (1334-1325 BC). Over 3,000 years old, shows

Metallic & silk thread embroidery on four similar 25"x5½”
Wall Hangings featuring floral and bird motifs. Additional
length for the tassels and top ropes make the overall length
over 42". Some faults noted, but overall nice condition.

Metallic sculpture of young boy holding a stamp box in the
shape of a basket of grapes. A 12" tall boy on rectangular
6½”x4½”x1" base. Highly unusual, first stamp box we have
seen in this design.

1900s SILVER PLATED OVERSIZED STAMP/MUSIC

Very attractive three compartment cylindrical stamp box
(9"x5"x5") that has a wind-up mechanism in the lid which plays
‘Tales of the Vienna Woods’ when opened. Fine condition with
some loss of silver plate on raised areas.

1940-50s DECORATIVE STAMP BOXES (x17) .. PH $300-400

Very attractive collection of 17 stamp boxes (16 different) with
various engraved or molded design lids. Sizes vary from about
(1½”x3"x½” to 3¼”x5"x1½”). Includes 13 metal ones, one
box appears to be an inkwell and pen holder and not a stamp
box. Three are carved or burned wood and one is porcelain
with gold metallic hardware made by famed French designer
‘Limoges’. Generally very fine condition. A great start to a
comprehensive collection or ideal to break down for sale or to
present as gifts.
