PH $700-900 Large group of about 1,500 B&W and color glossy photos of Vietnam era US jet fighter and attack aircraft, includes: F-4, F-5, F-8, F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18, F-111, A-3, A-4, A-7, A-8, A-10 and more. Vast majority 8"x10" and in great condition. Some duplication and a very few have owner’s sticker on the backs. A 10"x12" Legion of Merit awarded to a Red Army Colonel in May 1946 by President Truman. Complete with TLS from Truman on White House letterhead to Boris Ilitch Mutovin for exception conduct. Only 300 of these awards were given to Red Army personnel. Very fine condition. (R&R COA). 719 /D 1952 GEORGI ZHUKOV SIGNED DOCUMENT .... PH $300-400 A Soviet document (8"x11½”) signed on the back by the Marshall of the USSR and WWII hero Georgi Zhukov. The document is an Attestation from the Head of the Artillery Training Corps. Zhukov added ‘Cooperate with the (occupied) position.’ A horizontal fold and vertical edge fold, left side pins holes, but still good condition. 720 1960s-90s US FIGHTER AIRCRAFT GLOSSY PHOTOS (x1,500) ................................................. PH $200-300 A fold open card (6"x8¼”) signed inside by Ivan Kozhedub, three-time Hero of the Soviet Union and leading allied ace of WWII with 62 victories. Very fine condition with R&R COA. – VIETNAM WAR – 721 1960s-80s VIETNAM & GRENADA PHOTOS & SLIDES .................................................................. PH $200-300 Large group of photos, slides and transparencies from the Vietnam War and the Grenada invasion. Grenada consists of about 80 8"x10" color/B&W glossy photos and 150+ slides, Vietnam about 10 photos, x50 4"x5" transparencies and 150 slides. Nice group and most have an owner’s sticker on the back. 723 1897-1900 U.S. CAVALRY CAPTAIN’S CORRESPONDANCE .................................................. $350-500 Collection of 26 covers in an album, all but a few addressed to Lieutenant/Captain Buchanan Dugan of the 3rd & 7th Cavalry while stationed in the USA and deployed to Cuba around the same time as Teddy Roosevelt’s ‘Rough Riders’. Captain Dugan was stationed at various places in the U.S. including Jefferson Barracks, MO, Fort Sheridan, IL, Macon, GA, Tampa, FL, Huntsville, AL and in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. Cancellations include Jefferson Barracks, MO, Essex Junction, VT, a few different St. Louis, MO cancels and receiving cds from Fort Sheridan, IL, Jefferson Barracks, MO, Macon, GA, Huntsville, AL, & Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. Also a couple covers with Transit cds, a few covers with auxiliary markings, & 2 mourning covers. Interesting group. Expect some usual cover flaws, overall fine to very fine.
