D 1943 POLISH ARREST DOCUMENT ................ PH $750-1000
Partly printed typed document signed by a Gestapo officer in
pencil, one page, 8x9½”. In German, from Secret State Police,
Krakow, dated October 23, 1943. Headed ‘Protective Custody
Instruction,’ papers for Roman Gardala, a building master,
Catholic, born 2 June 1895 in Tarnow, Poland. He was held
for unauthorized possession of arms on orders from Heinrich
Müller, Hitler’s Gestapo chief who oversaw the implementation
of Hitler’s policies against all groups deemed a threat to the
state. Upper corners torn off, one just nicking the ‘3’ of ‘1943’.
Else in fine condition. (University Archives LOA).
Group of 8 Nazi-era documents from Georg Goegelein of
Koblenz, the first document from Racial Department where he
states he nor his relatives are Jewish, and marriage document
where he claims his future wife is not Jewish. Others include
WWI military history, SA membership since 1929, work
history, skills and more. English summary of documents
included.

Partially printed two sided document (12"x8") that establishes
proof of Jewish Ancestry (‘Juedisch’). The ‘Juedisch’
handstamp is applied for every relative of one Artur Kolbe. In
1935, he is officially ruled ‘Juedisch’ on bottom of second side.
Very scarce document.

1942 VILIJAMPOLE GHETTO ARMBAND .......... PH $300-400
Tan cloth armband (16x4") from the Vilijampole Ghetto
(Kaunas, Lithuania) with main Yiddish text in black, serial
number and two official handstamps ‘Altestenrat/der Judischen/
Ghetto-Gemeinde’ and ‘Judisches Ghetto/Arbeitsamt/
Vilijampole’ in violet and green. Some light water stains,
otherwise in excellent condition.
D 1941 UKRAINIAN THIRD REICH POLICE SECRET
DOCUMENT .......................................................... PH $200-300
A ‘Geheim’ (secret) document (7½x5¾”) dated Oct 6, 1941,
in Kiev that is ‘special treatment’ order for ‘Jewish saboteurs’.
In other words, execute the three men noted on document. The
three men with same last name and similar ages must be from
same family. Usual aging apparent.

Wooden trinket box (5x3x1½”) made in Litzmannstadt ghetto
in Poland with ‘1940’ and Star of David stamped on lid. Very
fine condition.
