A coach trip to Cadbury World Birmingham was organised by our branch secretary , which was enjoyed by all . The response to this trip was so good that it inspired us to organise another trip , this time to Bridlington on the 10th September , which will hopefully lead to other activities and gatherings .
A fun day was arranged to coincide with our Independence Day ( Republic Day ) on 26th January . This included games for children : pass the parcel , ball games , Wii , chess and musical chairs for both adults and children . The Mahila continued their tradition of supporting the Anand Bazaar with their deliciously prepared food raising £ 240 towards the Mahila fund .

SPA Bradford is an affiliated member of the North Hindu Council and as such took part in their Sports Day on 2nd July . This was not a competition between branches , but one to bring children together to compete between similar aged groups and have fun . A variety of games were played such as ring , dodge ball , relay , kho-kho , ladders , football ……. It was enjoyed by all .
The Mahila have continued their gatherings on a regular monthly basis covering various health topics . We have had health professional speakers , Zumba , Yoga sessions , dance taster class , cooking demonstrations etc .
