you have all debated how to run your local Samaj over drinks / dinner parties. Well the time is NOW. Come forward, be brave, don’ t be afraid …. adapt technology to your advantage … our forefathers adapted to change in India …. they were brave when they crossed the shores to go to Africa, the UK, Canada, Fiji and USA. Let us not be the generation that rides on their coat tails, enjoys the considerable freedom and opportunities of education that this country has afforded us. Let us change by taking our elders with us. We need them on the journey …. for spiritual guidance and wisdom. Most importantantly, apply what you have learnt in your professional lives to help take our Samaj forward. Despite everything, we have more Unity and‘ Samp’ then many other Hindu organisations.

We submitted an article charting our progress and given our humble beginnings, compared to many others, we as an institution have a lot be proud of. You can download copies from our website( www. prajapati. org. uk). During the year, we also received a lot of positive publicity for our Mahila and Senior Sneh Milan. Again, please look at our websites for the vast collection of photographs that I captured recording momentous events in our SPA( UK) s life.
I write from personal experience. Allow yourself to engage with society at large … at work, charitable activities, at home, with neighbours … there are wonderful folks out there willing to help, encourage … I am testament to this … my cycle ride raised £ 10,000 for 3 great charities …. all from kind family / friends and from my present and past industries I served in. Please do not get dragged down by negative publicity of other religions or faiths … they are being judged and will pay a price in time. As Hindus, as Prajapatis we have a wonderful reputation in the UK.
And so to end with one of India’ s greatest peace advocates – Gandhi Bapu.
