S PA B O C o LTO ve N n t r y Fathers Day BBQ I request the younger generation of the Samaj members to please come forward to support the events I would like to Thank All the executive committee members and every member of the Coventry Samaj who have supported the Samaj throughout the past 40 years Jai Shree Krishna to All Prajapati Members A s per previous years, Coventry Branch have continued to hold events such as Father’s day BBQ, Sharad Bhajans, Navratri and Diwali show. We were honoured that our HQ President Shri Jitubhai Mistry and his wife Sarojben attended our Diwali show. At the Diwali show we raised money for the Water Aid Charity. The early days were very difficult for the members who started the Samaj, as there were no funds, not every household had cars, phones and modern technology of mobiles, and emails did not exist. Most of the members had recently come to the UK and were working hard to earn a living that would allow them to provide for their family. Today our Samaj across the UK is a well run organisation and through the good work and contribution of many over the last 4 decades has resulted in SPA having a well balanced constitution, we are charity registered, all Branches have a good financial status, all branches are actively holding religious, cultural, social events for elders and the younger members of the Samaj. The hard work of setting up, putting a good foundation and bringing together our community has been done by our elders and the time has come to take our Samaj forward over the next many decades. I therefore request the younger generation of the Samaj members to please come forward to support the events, play a role in developing the Samaj, dedicate some time to help with same level of passion and commitment our founder members put, so that Shree Prajapati Association continues to grow and provide for its members. In this special year it is important to remember and acknowledge all the members who have contributed, devoted their time for Samaj, supported the Samaj events, their kind donations and for their Sewa to Samaj over the past 40 years. I would like to Thank All the executive committee members and every member of the Coventry Samaj who have supported the Samaj throughout the past 40 years and look forward to seeing many more new members come on board to participate and contribute. HAPPY DIWALI AND NUTEN VARSHA ABHINANDON TO ALL OF YOU FROM COVENTRY BRANCH 59 2014 is a special year for Coventry Branch as it is our 40th Anniversay. Shree Prajapati Association was first established in Coventry in 1974 and later branches across other UK cities & towns were formed in 1975. Despite those difficult times, the members made time for Samaj, supported events, donated with generosity, had passion and committed to Samaj and devoted their time and effort that enabled the growth of the Samaj to where we are today. We should be grateful to the founder members of Samaj and for their selfless hard work and devotion to Samaj.
