Kinkade Jewelers
Our story began in 1958 in Tacoma , Washington . My dad along with his twin brother opened up their first fine jewelry store . My brother Wayne and I spent many hours at the store but we wer young and only allowed to sweep . By the time we turned 13 , we were both soldering gold chains and starting to work at the bench . This began out life-long love of jewelry !
We moved to Indiana in 1986 . After doing custom work and jewelry repairs for many of the stores in the area , we , along with my wife Julie decided to finally open our own store . We did this
duing the height of the pandemic in 2021 . I know what you are thinking – but it turned out to be the best decision we have ever made . Between my wife , Wayne and myself , we have over 150 years of jewelry experience . As a family we all have different job titles , strengths and abilities . It takes all of us but our jewelry boutique and custom
