Veterans are Meant to be Honored as Heroes

I know you guys are ready to hear about another WWII vet I have interviewed but I have left that segment of my mission to continue trying to influence those that may not know what our military ’ s real sacrifice was and is .
The truth is , I have looked far and wide and can ’ t find anyone of the right age that is willing or able to talk to me about that war so I am looking forward , past WWII , past the Korean war ( unless any of you know anyone ), and focus on Vietnam vets , of which we have plenty .
The Vietnam war was distinctly different from WWII and Korea . There was no fanfare when they left and none when / if they returned . They were called names which for many , especially those that lost friends or a part of themselves , was very hard to understand . Many of which are haunted by it to this day . And with so many that went and sacrificed , their return had to be almost as hard as the war itself . This may also be why we don ’ t hear as
