pride in being " hands-on " owners, staying involved in daily operations, listening to feedback, and making improvements where needed— Somerset Pizza & Pub offers what is intentionally a very different experience, even from the standpoint of the menu itself. Rather than just another location, Somerset Pizza & Pub was designed to be its own destination with its own personality.
" From the beginning, we wanted Somerset Pizza & Pub to have its own identity," he said. " The menu is different, the ingredients are different, and even many of the cooking processes are different. We often tell people that pizza is an art form, and Somerset Pizza and Pub gives us another

canvas on which to express that art. It allows us to explore different flavor profiles, techniques, and menu offerings while still staying true to the standards that have guided our family businesses for years."
Signature pub pizzas have quickly become customer favorites, such as the Pub Special, loaded with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions and green peppers, or flavors like chicken bacon ranch, Buffalo chicken, or even chicken and Alfredo sauce— " There ' s something for every taste," said Robinson, who noted that they use different ingredients and preparation methods from what Eubank pizza does.
Some of the biggest surprises for Robinson have
been the restaurant ' s winds and pasta dishes. The winds have

developed a loyal following, he said— boneless or bonein chicken, with an array of sauces to choose from including Buffalo, honey BBQ, and garlic parmesan. As for pastas, Somerset Pizza & Pub works to bring a little bit more Italian flavor to Pulaski County, from chicken parmesan and chicken Alfredo to the always classic spaghetti and meatballs. Robinson said it ' s been exciting to see how many guests come in expecting pizza and falling in love with the pasta instead.
Starts like pretzel bites with cheese, provolone triangles, loaded tots, and a house sampler have proven perfect to enjoy while enjoying entertainment, watching the game on TV, or just spending time with loved ones. The restaurant also features a full bar with eight to ten beers on tap, and a daily pizza and salad buffet from 11 a. m. to 3 p. m. " Overall, we wanted a menu that felt approachable, satisfying, and a little different from what people might expect," said Robinson. "... The fact that so many customers already have favorite menu items tells us we ' re headed in the right direction."
He added, " In many ways, our Eubank Pizza locations represent one expression of our family ' s passion for food and hospitality, while Somerset Pizza & Pub represents another. Both

The Robinsons may be from the area of a big city, but Pulaski County has proven to be the perfect place to grow— to bake until perfection, perhaps— a small family-owned business. Robinson said that operating here has been an " incredibly positive " experience for his family, and that Somerset offers a strong environment for businesses like theirs, with tourism from Lake Cumberland and the lineup of different community events bringing in visitors as well as local regulars, and the overall vibe containing an energy and optimism that makes it an exciting place to serve a slice or two.
" One of the reasons we ' ve continued to invest in Pulaski County is because we ' ve seen firsthand how much residents value locally owned businesses," he said. " People here genuinely want to see small businesses succeed. They shop local, recommend local businesses to friends and family, and take pride in supporting entrepreneurs who are investing back into the community."
He added that they ' ve been fortunate to work with many supportive individuals and organizations throughout their journey. " Whether it ' s local government, community leaders, the Chamber of Commerce, business organizations, or fellow business owners, we ' ve found people willing to offer guidance, make connections, and help create opportunities. There is a spirit of cooperation here that isn ' t always present in
