DanCe Let’s Dance 2019 Cruinniú na nÓg Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June Saturday 15 June The Elle Academy of Dance returns to The Source for their annual summer show ‘Let’s Dance 2019’. Students aging from 3 to 20 years from The Academy in Urlingford and Cashel will bring the stage to life with various dance styles including Modern dance, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Dance. Choreography is by Eleanor Brannigan and Niamh Ahern. Tipperary Library Service celebrates Cruinniú na nÓg throughout this Saturday in Thurles library and on the boardwalk outside the Arts Centre. The library will host numerous activities throughout the day starting at 10.30am and running until 4.30pm. All the child centred events are free and activity based with plenty of opportunities for young children to take part! The Academy was opened in 2006 by qualified dance teacher Eleanor Brannigan with classes available in Urlingford, Cashel and Clonmel. The main focus of all classes at The Academy is that all children have fun whilst learning the joy of dance and this shines through on stage. There is a lot to look forward to from story- telling with Sarah Tully, face-painting, Clowning Around Workshop with Danielle Martin, The Mobile Music School with Shay Lally, The Wobbly Circus performance and circus skills workshop, The Mad Professor Science Show and pavement art (weather permitting).   For more information about dance classes please call Eleanor 086 0868287 or find The Elle Academy of Dance on Facebook.
