A Salute to The
Crooners with
Dave Lawlor
Friday 10 May
A Salute to The Crooners sees one of Ireland’s
greatest singers Dave Lawlor pay tribute to the
songs of Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Matt
Monro, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Elvis
Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, Perry Como
and Dean Martin.
Only Dave Lawlor, star of the highly acclaimed
‘Reeling in the Showband Years’ can pay
homage – accurately, respectfully, and with the
appropriate humility – to so many musical
icons in one show. Acknowledged by his
contemporaries as one of Ireland’s best singers,
Dave has received many accolades to date.
Don’t miss your chance to hear the classics
come to life as Dave brings the audience
through the great crooner songbook and some
of the best known hits of the twentieth
century.

Paul Noonan - Solo
Saturday 11 May
There’s no point trying to sew Paul Noonan into
any costume. What fits him today might not
look so snug tomorrow. And what’s more, that
seems to be the way he’s preferred it over the
last 20 years. It’s probably just as well that he
ended up in the perfect day job; frontman for
Bell X1.
Bell X1 have consistently marked the point on
the Irish music map where pop and alternative
collide with guile, intellect and heart. Single
after radio-ravishing single such as ‘Rocky Took
A Lover’, ‘Flame’ and ‘Eve’, ‘The Apple Of My
Eye’ cemented them in the public consciousness.
For this special, up close and personal
performance, Paul will perform favourites from
the BX1 catalogue as well as new songs from
his debut solo LP. Don’t miss this opportunity
to see one of Ireland’s great songwriters live.
