In the mid 1990's, twenty French urban dancers
join together for a three-day rehearsal in a
closed-down boarding school located at the
heart of a forest. Finished their work, they have
a party. The atmosphere becomes charged and
a strange madness seizes them. It seems
obvious to them that their drinks have been
drugged, but they neither know by who nor
why. And it's soon impossible for them to resist
to their neuroses and psychoses, numbed by
the hypnotic rhythm of the music.

Welcome to a tale of squabbles, scuffles…and
buttons! George grows grapes. Bessie grows
cabbages. One loves the sun. One loves the rain.
A petty squabble grows and grows and grows
into… the war of the buttons!
This is a world where you are invited to eat
birthday cake, take sides and where a button
can be a kiss, a wish, a present, or a trophy
of war!
