1903: the scientist Marie Curie (Karolina Gruszka) is the first woman to receive
the Nobel Prize for Physics together with her husband Pierre (Charles Berling).
But only a short time later, in her mid-thirties and as a young mother of two
children, Pierre’s dies and Marie must continue her research alone.
Then, after years of mourning, she falls in love with the married scientist
Paul Langevin (Arieh Worthalter) triggering a scandal that may destroy
her reputation both professionally and personally.
