number of the songs on the album use this technique and it’s executed greatly. Neither method weighs out the other. The instruments are the main standout, but that’s with the fact that it is a “rock” album. The album’s second single “Alone” is an odd mash-up with a bit of Kellin rapping during the second verse. Rapper MGK raps the bridge to the song as a special appearance. On paper this sounds like a really bad idea, but it went very well in the studio and rapper MGK added a very nice touch to the album that I’m sure loyal fans of Sleeping With Sirens will remember.

All in all, this album contains a wide variety with differentiating songs. Different tempos, different meanings, and different riffs throughout. Few songs on the album sound the same. Despite being a lyrical album, there were no acoustically driven ballads on the album. Not as many standout tracks as the previous two albums by the quintet though. Though also being a very well rounded album, every song is well put together and sounds very good. Props need to be given to Gabe Barham for the best drum tracks we’ve possibly heard to date. I’d recommend this album to anyone who’s looking for a new experience. With Feel Sleeping With Sirens have definitely made their mark with creating their own sound.
