SLEEPING WITH SIRENS "FEEL" ALBUM REVIEW

Yet another album has dropped in the music world. On June 4, 2013, American Post-hardcore band Sleeping With Sirens released their third full length album entitled Feel. This album is another vocal driven album from the leggiero tenor vocal range of Kellin Quinn. This album boasts with many various acts of talent such as Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire, Shayley Bourget of Dayshell, and an odd appearance by Machine Gun Kelly. The first single, “Low”, was the first preview of the album and was released on April 23, 2013. Later on May 26, 2013, the entire album was streamed on the Rise Records Youtube Channel.

The album begins with the title track “Feel.” After listening to this track, the album’s mood is set. It turns into probably the best lyrical album that Sleeping With Siren’s have released to date. This is noticed greatly in the standout track, “Free Now.” This track is written in dedication to lead singer Kellin Quinn’s newly born daughter. The lyrics portrayed in this album were well developed and are the best of the band to date. The first single “Low” is a fast paced song. The song uses guitars mixed with a small amount of electronics in the background used to set a melody with the lead vocals. A good
