Something About Small Things March 2017 | Page 4

Approach Challenged with the complexities of the cultural and socio-political conditions as well as a short time frame, our approach considers the everyday of Saniya’s family life as a starting point for change. Through conversations with the family and neighbours, and spending time in their home and local area we identified moments of difficultly where there were opportunity to improve their everyday experience in small ways. The outcomes were 4 Small Things; adjustments to existing conditions and situations that the family felt a desire to change. The 4 Small Things support the physiotherapy goals that Saniya is working towards by nurturing her sensory, cognitive and social abilities. 4
