6th Frigiliana Art Route
For the sixth consecutive year we meet again in the Art Route of Frigiliana , one of ‘ The most beautiful villages in Spain ’, in order to walk its streets and discover the 24 locations where you will meet the 48 participating artists from 12 different nationalities . You will have the opportunity to meet them personally and chat with each one of them and discover the secrets of their creative process . As many disciplines , techniques and styles as authors : painting , drawing , photography , sculpture , textiles , encaustic , engraving , art povera , ceramics , collage ... You will visit their studios and even find some of them working live at their location . You will learn about their works and projects .
" An inner journey " by the artist Alina Eliza Smocov , in which you will learn and understand the collage technique to create your own style and express your own vision of the world , intervening in your composition with other drawing and painting techniques . Bringing art and artists closer to the general public and delving into the realm of creation is one of the great achievements of the Frigiliana Art Route . And for those who want to get more involved in the creative experience , we have included different extra activities : an intensive painting course and various collage workshops .
Three days full of art in a setting full of charm
The 6th Frigiliana Art Route will excite you ! Visit it from October 7th to 9th from 11:00 a . m . to 2:00 p . m . and from 4:00 p . m . to 8:00 p . m .
In this new proposal with face-to-face workshops during the three days that the Frigiliana Art Route lasts , this year we will have :
-An intensive painting course ( 10 hours spread over the three days of the Route ) with the Valencian artist Ismael Fuentes . “ Colour will be the main theme of this course , in which we will explore all the elements associated with it and which are the key to carrying out any artistic creation . We will also talk about plastic , procedures , materials and how to use them correctly . Attendees will be guided through the process to improve their workflow and learn how to synthesize .”
During the course , Ismael will make a quick demonstration to guide the student when planning the work quickly and openly .
- And several three-hour collage workshops ( every day of the Route ) by the artist Alina Eliza Smocov .
