Here he is interviewed by fellow CCP members Varsha, Vaishali and Stephen. 3 3 Tell us when you first joined Speak Out. I first heard about Speak Out a couple of years ago when Ian Clements came to visit the Community Access Service. I joined the Peer Information Project & now I’m a CCP member. What do you liked best about CCP? The best thing for me was going to the Houses of Parliament where we launched the Support Worker Promise. I also enjoyed playing the flute at Speak Out in Hounslow’s AGM. Can you tell us about your disability? Yes, I have learning disabilities and autism. I can do lots of things by myself. I travel by myself but I need some help with how to get to places and managing my time. Where did you go to school? I went to Marjory Kinnon. It was brilliant! Then I went to West Thames College on their Supported Learning course. You now living independently. What do you like about it? I’m enjoying it. I use the vacuum cleaner & cook by myself. My favourite meal to cook is Spaghetti Bolognese. Recently, one of the radiators burst but my uncle came to help! What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to watch Star Trek on TV. I also love playing music. I play the Flute and am learning for my Grade 4 level. I also play the tenor Saxophone and the recorder. What do you think about joining the Speak Out Management Committee? I think it will be really good for me!
