There is so much competition in tourism and these heritage properties despite unique branding have to
face it …the tourism sector is continuously evolving there’s branding, competition, organic, living
.health conscious food menu and so much..ations. What is so beautiful that they are eaten love all these
years!
There is Dahi maas samosa, Fried Bhindi (Okra), Sula (meat from the back of a goat leg), Hari Mirch
ka Potha, Khad Khargosh, Govind Gattas, Bina Pani ki Roti, and many other dishes, always in
demand!
(We meet these two chefs working in the royal kitchen for years with superb knowledge of royal
kitchen recipes..)
Actually we are not innovating, we care for our history, heritage and selling it spreading it. But yes, we
should be on social media, manage a dashing website and present it in an innovative way showcasing
our heritage
Rajasthan is famous for our vivid cultures. Also, there should be some standardized way or procedure to
distinguish between original real heritage properties and those fake ones popping up everywhere.
Expansion plans for such heritage palaces from the business point of views…
Royals faced huge problems in their larger thanlife lifestyle after Privy Purse laws etc. All they knew
was how to rule! Fight! Hunt! Be a leader! They would spend their evenings in the Bal Rooms dancing,
playing cards, socializing.
Running the hotels was not into their plans at all. They shold get support…
After they were deprived of royal privileges, ,many royal families actually facing poverty. But despite
all this, w e can’t change our heritage. We are aware of innovations, organic food and etc etc. But we
have to keep in mind our lineage, our heritage values. We are not only after money. We certainly don’t
want to become hotel industry magnets.
We now take leave but with pride for our heritage in our hearts...
SoCultures thinks the famous words…The world is getting more connected through technology and
travel. Cuisines are evolving. Some people are scared of globalization, but I think people will always
