Resumo
Este artigo tem por objetivo, apresentar uma síntese das
problematizações da maternagem nas Penitenciárias Femininas. A
pesquisa identificou as características das mulheres em situação de
maternidade no sistema carcerário feminino, assim como, analisou as
dificuldades que essas mulheres enfrentam para obter o respeito de seus
direitos humanos. Vindo também a investigar, como funciona o sistema
de cárcere feminino e importância do assistente social, na atuação e no
atendimento da mulher em situação de maternidade no sistema prisional
feminino.

Abstract
This article aims to present a synthesis of the problematizations of
motherhood in the Women's Penitentiaries. The research identified the
characteristics of women in maternity situations in the female prison
system, as well as analyzed the difficulties that these women face in
obtaining respect for their human rights. Also coming to investigate, how
the female prison system works and the importance of the social worker,
in the performance and care of women in maternity situations in the
female prison system.
