2. Clear Set of Values

Role models live their values in the world. Youngsters admire people who act in ways that support their beliefs. It helps them understand how their own values are a part of who they're and the way they may request fulfilling roles as adults. As an example, students spoke of the many people who supported causes from education to poverty to the environment. Role models helped these students understand the underlying values that motivated individuals to become advocates for social change and innovation.

3.Commitment to Community

Role models are other-focused as opposed to self-focused. They’re sometimes active in their communities, freely giving of their time and skills to benefit individuals. Students loved people that served on local boards, reached out to neighbors in need, voted, and were active members of community organizations.

4.Selflessness and Acceptance of Others

Related to the concept that role models show a commitment to their communities, students additionally admired people for his or her selflessness and acceptance of others who were totally different from them.

5.Ability to Overcome Obstacles

They have the power to overcome the obstacles which will be in the way. It doesn’t stop them from doing what they love which is reaching out their helping hand to the people that are in severe need. Role models have the initiative to try and do things especially to get up once more and help individuals.
